Hitman: Codename 47
A Bald guy wakes up in a padded cell with an enigmatic barcode on his neck,
haunted by nightmares. He soon realizes he has a single purpose in life - he is
a clone, born and bred for contract killings. Hitman: Codename 47 set a new
standard for thinker-shooters. As Hitman you must use stealth, tactics and
imagination to enter, execute and exit your assignment, getting minimum
attention but maximum effect! You have access to the most devious devices, but
it will cost you - how you use them will determine if you retire as a
millionaire, or get retired! Hitman is no ordinary hired killer - he's a
versatile forensic artist using stealth, disguise, intelligence, advanced
weapons, poison and raw power to accomplish his kills. But he is also haunted
by a troubling past of deception and brutal genetic engineering. The intriguing
story evolves over five chapters of riveting action. But the success of a
contract killer depends just as much on a fast mind as a quick shot.
Hitman 2: Silent Assassin
Is the sequel to Hitman: Codename 47 - released October 2002. Once again, you
enter the realm of an accomplished assassin - retired but forced back into
action by treason. Trying to distance himself from his violent past he finds
himself in a situation where he's forced to take up his old trade. Learning
about his legendary skills, a Russian crime boss trading illegal arms wants his
services, but also has a different agenda…You soon realize that you're caught
in the middle of a ring of deception and discover that you have become a target
yourself - of a highly trained ex Spetsnaz assassin. Use stealth, tactics and
survival instincts to complete your missions. Plan your hits carefully and
think to survive. Explore a universe, minutely recreated in fantasy, but based
on facts - not fiction. Visit the dark recesses of a world corrupted by crime,
greed, degradation and dishonor.
Hitman: Contracts
Hitman Contracts - release April 2004. The game begins in Paris as a wounded
Agent 47 finds himself trapped in a dingy hotel room. As he lapses in and out
of consciousness he experiences flashbacks from some of his most harrowing
missions. Hitman Contracts explores the darker psychology of killing for a
living and is our most graphic effort yet in the series. Hitman Contracts
delivers more action-packed and suspense-filled missions with a greater variety
of ways to make the perfect kill. An increased arsenal of firearms, close
combat weapons and new 'take-down' moves will be at your disposal allowing you
to perform a wide range of brutal 'hits'. The game features 12 levels set in
various locations where you must come face to face with some of the world's
most dangerous criminals and high profile targets. Hitman Contracts is powered
by the latest iteration of IO's ground-breaking 'Glacier' engine, enabling
incredibly detailed and graphically rich environments.
Hitman: Blood Money
The world's deadliest assassin returns and takes killing for money to a whole
new level. When assassins from his contract agency, the ICA, are systematically
eliminated in a series of hits, Agent 47 suspects that a larger, more powerful
agency has entered the fray. As he suddenly loses contact with the ICA, Agent
47 senses that he may be the next target, so our merciless contract killer
travels to America to take care of business himself...Hitman Blood Money is the
fourth installment of the critically acclaimed Hitman series. If Agent 47 must
stay hidden, make clean 'hits' and leave the scene unnoticed, he will be
rewarded. But if he is revealed during a violent act, his picture will end up
in the papers and on wanted posters, making the job as a contract killer more
difficult. This time, Agent 47 is paid in cold, hard cash. How the money is
spent will affect his passage through the game and the weapons at his disposal,
resulting in a unique game-play experience for each player.
