S.T.A.L.K.E.R. – Clear Sky v1.5.07 [Wineskin][Intel]
S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky proves that the developers at GSC really listened to the community, and while it still isn’t a flawless ride, Clear Sky does a great job of delivering on some of the promises that the original game didn’t reach.

Ported & Tested on a Macbook Pro Intel Core Duo 1.83 Ghz w/ 2 gb RAM and an ATI Radeon X1600 with 128 MB vRAM
I ported this game using the much anticipated, recently released Wineskin 1.0
Wine version used was 1.1.40….
Windows Minimum System Rquirements:
Windows 2000 sp4
Intel Pentium 4 2.0 Ghz / AMD XP 2200+
512 MB of RAM with 10 GB of free HD space
DirectX8 compliant graphics card
nVidia GeForce 5700/ ATI Radeon 9600
Wineskin Status: ORANGE
This game runs surprisingly smooth considering the status I’ve had to give it. Again with this port, as with my SoC port I was unable to get rid of the jumping grass bug. But from what I understand, when using the full dynamic lighting range the bug is not apparent. The menu for this setting can be changed in game or if that does not work please refer to the Clear Sky tweak guide I have included.
MOUSE ISSUES:
The biggest reason I had to give this game an orange rating is due to the lack of mouse support….you can only use the in-game or the in-menu mouse at any given time during the game. Both are not present in the same instance so this setting needs to be changed when switching between game play and menus. It’s really quite simple and shouldn’t be too big of a nuisance although hopefully I’ll conjure up a fully supported wrapper in the near future. You’ll be required to do this when the game launches because the mouse will not work.
So basically to easily switch between the two settings as quickly as possible please refer to the read me. You’ll also find instructions and important information about the game and it’s performance. The tweak guide also has a tonne of valuable information.
